About the Role:
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our team in a role that combines pre-sales solution design and technical architecture with implementation team support. This role provides a competitive base salary with additional opportunities for performance-based bonuses and commissions.
The pre-sales aspect of the role involves collaborating with the sales team to analyze complex customer requirements and craft tailored HubSpot implementation solutions, including custom software integrations using HubSpot’s API capabilities.
The implementation team support component involves providing guidance and technical oversight to internal implementation consultants and project teams, ensuring the successful execution of HubSpot solutions as outlined in our Full-Service Implementation offerings.
While the balance of focus will vary week-to-week due to natural course of business and status of projects and opportunities, we expect the split of activities in this role to average 75% pre-sales and 25% implementation team support.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Solution Design & Technical Architecture
- Partner with the sales team to assess customer needs and design scalable HubSpot implementation and integration solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions with prospective clients to gather technical requirements and scope projects effectively.
- Develop proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing estimates for professional services engagements.
- Architect integration solutions between HubSpot and third-party applications using HubSpot APIs and middleware tools.
- Provide technical expertise in pre-sales meetings, ensuring clients understand the value and feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Stay updated with HubSpot’s evolving ecosystem, APIs, and best practices to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Act as a technical advisor and escalation point for internal HubSpot implementation consultants and project teams.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members working on complex HubSpot implementations and integrations.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges, particularly related to system architecture, integrations, and automation.
- Ensure solution architecture is executed properly during project implementation and aligns with client business goals.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices for HubSpot implementation services, including internal support for a smooth transition of new client projects from the sales process to the services delivery team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technical solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or professional services, with a focus on HubSpot implementations.
- Strong understanding of HubSpot CRM, Marketing, Sales, and Service Hubs, including workflows, automation, and data architecture.
- Experience defining business requirements and documenting high level solution design for custom integrations between HubSpot and third-party applications using HubSpot APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and middleware tools.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience overseeing technical solution architecture from design to implementation.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Node.js is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration tools like Zapier, Workato, or Mulesoft is a plus.
- Prior experience mentoring or supporting technical teams in a consulting or implementation environment.
- Although travel is not a frequent requirement for this role, there may be occasions when short-term travel for on-site client or company activities will be requested (with expenses reimbursed or paid by the company).
Preferred Qualifications

The target compensation range for this position including performance based bonuses is $95,000 to $150,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications) plus benefits. (Base Salary range of $85,000 to $110,000.
